Week 2: GPAC Golfers of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 30-October 6, 2024.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Women – Lucy Brown, Morningside University
Lucy Brown of Morningside University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Brown, a sophomore from Southport, United Kingdom, led Morningside to the team title at this year's Lila Frommelt Fall Classic. She carded a two-round total of 157 while battling windy conditions on Sioux City's south side to take home individual medalist honors out of 41 golfers.

Men – Henry Kosmicki, Hastings College
Henry Kosmicki of Hastings College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Kosmicki, a junior from Grand Island, Nebraska, tied for the best score through 36 holes and led the Broncos to a first-place finish at the Nebraska Intercollegiate meet. He shot a -2 on the first 18, then a -1 on the second 18 to pace the Broncos.
