Offensive – Joey Skoff, Morningside University (Guard)
Joey Skoff of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Skoff, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, had 29 points in this week's 106-89 win over Northwestern, continuing to reset Morningside's career-scoring record. He shot 64.7 percent from the floor in the week's only contest, tallying three assists.
Defensive – Tristan Smith, Concordia University (Forward)
Tristan Smith of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Smith, senior from Elizabeth, Colorado, led the Bulldogs to a Concordia Invitational Tournament championship and was named the MVP of the tournament. Defensively, Smith blocked four shots and swiped two steals in the win over Concordia Chicago and then nabbed two steals in the victory over Concordia Ann Arbor. Smith averaged 18.0 points and 8.5 rebounds while making 15-of-17 shots from the floor over the two contests.
