Week 10: GPAC Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Women – Kia Tower, University of Jamestown (Guard)
Kia Tower of the University of Jamestown is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball player-of-the-week. Tower, a senior from Bigfork, Minnesota, scored 19 points and dished out a career-high 10 assists as Jamestown overcame a 13-point halftime deficit to defeat Morningside 80-74 on the road last week. She shot 6-of-9 from the field and 7-of-7 from the free throw line and also grabbed six rebounds and recorded a pair of steals.
Men – Tristan Smith, Concordia University (Forward)
Tristan Smith of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball player-of-the-week. Smith, a junior from Elizabeth, Colorado, posted three double-doubles during the week as the Bulldogs went 3-0 and won the Concordia Invitational Tournament championship (30th in program history). Smith now has nine double-doubles on the season as he totaled 50 points and 40 rebounds for the week. He was named to the CIT all-tournament team.
