Week 9: GPAC Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Women – Audrey Rodakowski, University of Jamestown (Center)
Audrey Rodakowski of the University of Jamestown is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball player-of-the-week. Rodakowski, a senior from Dickinson, North Dakota, averaged 18 points and 9.5 rebounds as Jamestown won a pair of conference road games last week. In the Jimmies 73-68 win over #10 Briar Cliff, Rodakowski had 19 points and 12 rebounds, then followed with 17 points and seven rebounds in just 17 minutes as Jamestown defeated College of Saint Mary 87-52. She shot 57.1 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the line for the week.
Men – Alex Van Kalsbeek, Northwestern College (Forward)
Alex Van Kalsbeek of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball player-of-the-week. Van Kalsbeek, a sophomore from Sheldon, Iowa, scored a school-record 52-points on Monday against Midland, shooting 70% from the floor in the win. On Saturday, he knocked down a buzzer-beating three to send the game into overtime, where the Raiders would win in part to his 23 points and 11 rebounds. Van Kalsbeek averaged 31.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists over three games this week.
