Week 7: GPAC Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Women – Mak Hatcliff, Doane University (Guard)
Mak Hatcliff of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball player-of-the-week. Hatcliff, a junior from Beatrice, Nebraska, led Doane with 27 points in an upset win over eighth-ranked Briar Cliff on Saturday. She added five rebounds, three assists, and a team-high four steals. She ranks fourth nationally in scoring average at 24.9 points per game, sixth in 3-point field goal percentage at 50.0-percent, and 14th in steals.
Men – Brady Timm, Doane University (Guard)
Brady Timm of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball player-of-the-week. Timm, a junior from Yutan, Nebraska, c scored a career-high 41 points in a quadruple overtime win over Briar Cliff. He was clutch for the Tigers when they needed him, hitting a three-point basket with 0:13 left in regulation to force overtime. In the first overtime, Timm scored five points in the final 12 seconds of play to erase a four-point deficit and extend the game. In the third overtime, he scored with 0:05 remaining to force a fourth overtime. An old-fashion three-point play with 0:53 left in the fourth overtime gave Doane a lead they would not give up.
