Week 4: GPAC Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Women – Mallie McNair, Briar Cliff University (Guard)
Mallie McNair of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball player-of-the-week. McNair, a sophomore from Imperial, Nebraska, led the ninth ranked Chargers to road wins over cross-town rival Morningside and Mount Marty. She averaged 21 points, while shooting 53 percent from the field and 46 percent from three. She also dished out five assists and had three steals to go with seven boards.
Men – Noah Schutte, Concordia University (Forward)
Noah Schutte of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball player-of-the-week. Shutte, a senior from Laurel, Nebraska, produced a combined 45 points, 29 rebounds and nine assists as Concordia won over Midland, 104-86, and Jamestown, 99-78, this past week. Schutte notched a double-double in both games grabbing 14 and 15 rebounds, and made 16-of-27 (.593) shots from the floor. He also dished out seven assists and had a steal. On the season, Schutte is averaging 22.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
