Week 2: GPAC Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Women – Abby Krieser, Concordia University (Guard)
Abby Krieser of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball player-of-the-week. Krieser, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, totaled 28 points on 10-for-19 shooting for the week as No. 11 Concordia opened GPAC play with wins over Morningside and Northwestern. Krieser's 24 points at Northwestern represented a career high. Krieser is averaging 12.5 points and 3.0 rebounds on the season.
Men – Matthew Stilwill, Briar Cliff University (Guard)
Matthew Stilwill of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball player-of-the-week. Stilwill, a senior from Johnston, Iowa, willed the Chargers to their GPAC season opening winning last week, pouring in a career-high 46 points and shot 68 percent from the field. He also grabbed seven rebounds in the contest and knocked down two threes. Stilwill went 18-for-19 from the charity stripe. Stilwill took control of the contest in the final ten minutes, scoring 30 points during the stretch.
