Week 10: GPAC Football Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following football players-of-the-week for games played the week of October 28-November 3, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-25 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/ Football Players-of-the-Week
Offense – Austin Jablonski, Wide Receiver (Concordia University)
Concordia wide receiver Austin Jablonski is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Jablonski, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, snared eight receptions for 184 yards and two touchdowns as Concordia defeated Hastings, 42-6. Jablonski's touchdowns covered distances of 67 and 42 yards, respectively. Jablonski became the first player in program history to record back-to-back seasons of 1,000 receiving yards. He also rushed four times for 20 yards.The Bulldogs have the week off before they travel to Midland on Saturday, November 16. Kick off will be at 1 pm.
Defense – Colton Dreith, Defensive Back (Morningside University)
Defensive lineman Colton Dreith of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Dreith, a junior from Storm Lake, Iowa, had a pair of crucial sacks in Morningside's 13-7 victory over Northwestern. One of his sacks was key to knocking the Raiders out of field goal range on a drive that began at Morningside's 26-yard line. His second sack came in Northwestern's final drive with less than two minutes remaining in the contest, smothering the Raiders' attempts at one final score. The Mustangs travel to Waldorf on Saturday, November 9. Kick off will be at 1 pm.
Special Teams – Trevor Paulsen, Kicker/Punter (Morningside University)
Trevor Paulsen of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Paulsen, a sophomore from Yankton, South Dakota, was 2-for-2 on field goals this week, making both attempted and scoring what would turn out to be the difference in a battle of two of the NAIA's top teams as Morningside beat Northwestern 13-7. He put Morningside on the board in the first quarter with a 38-yard make and gave the Mustangs a little breathing room late as a third quarter 33-yarder emitted a resounding "ping" as it glanced off the right upright and through. The Mustangs travel to Waldorf on Saturday, November 9. Kick off will be at 1 pm.
