Northwestern Wins the 2024 GPAC Cheer Championship

(Crete, Neb.) - Northwestern College had a total score of 92.67 and claimed the 2024 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Cheer Championship. The 2024 GPAC Cheer Championship was hosted by Doane University in Crete, Nebraska, at the Haddix Center. 

Northwestern held the lead after the preliminaries with a score of 91.02 and posted a total score of 92.67 with a score of 93.22 in the finals.  Midland was second with a total score of 88.79 and Hastings placed third with a score of 81.14.

5. Concordia - 80.73
6. Doane - 80.47
7. Morningside - 78.71
8. Mount Marty - 55.61

The NAIA National Cheer Championships will be in Ypsilanti, Michigan, hosted by the Ann Arbor Sports Commission & Concordia University Ann Arbor on March 29 -30, 2024.
