Doane to Host the 2023 GPAC Cheer and Dance Championships
Both events will have a preliminary and finals round. The GPAC All-Conference tryouts will be held for both dance and cheer.
Dance competition will begin on Friday afternoon at 3:00pm at the George and Sally Haddix Recreation and Athletic Center on the Doane University campus in Crete. Cheer competition will begin at 10:00am on Saturday morning. The GPAC Dance Championship also serves as a NAIA Qualifier, with Viterbo joining the GPAC schools.
The GPAC Cheer Champion is an automatic NAIA Qualifier.

Finals start at 5:54 pm and will be ordered based on preliminary scores

In 2022 Midland won the GPAC Cheer Championship, while Morningside won the GPAC Dance Championship.
The NAIA National Championships will be in Ypsilanti, Michigan, hosted by the Ann Arbor Sports Commission & Concordia University Ann Arbor on March 10-11, 2023.
