Week 10: GPAC Baseball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following baseball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played April 22-28, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors

Pitcher – Zachary Vincent, Midland University

Zachary Vincent of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week.  Vincent, a senior from Tucson, Arizona, picked up his third win of the season on Saturday at Dordt. He went 7.0 innings while allowing three hits and a walk while striking out a career-best 10 batters. This season, he has a 2.82 ERA through 44.2 innings of work, the most of his collegiate career.

Player – Cam Riemer, Briar Cliff University (Infield)

Cam Riemer of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports player-of-the-week.  Riemer, a junior from Sioux City, Iowa, went 6-for-13 (.462) with a home run and nine RBIs in four games last week. He drove in three runs in three of the four games on the week and scored six runs.
