Bio
Katie (Frohmader) Robson joined the Great Plains Athletic Conference in July of 2025 as the Assistant Commissioner for Operations.
Robson is a 2021 graduate of NAIA member Viterbo University (La Crosse, Wisconsin), with a degree in Sports Management. She played volleyball for the V-Hawks, where she was a four-time North Star Athletic Conference (NSAA) All-Conference performer, a two-time NAIA-AVCA All-American, and two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She was also a member of the Viterbo Student-Advisory Committee and NSAA Social Justice Committee.
She holds a master's degree in education from the University of Minnesota (2023) where she served as a Communications Assistant with the Gopher Athletic Department. She was the primary media contact for Minnesota baseball, swim and dive, and women's hockey programs. She was also a Student-Athlete Development Intern. While at Minnesota she served as a team liaison for the 2023 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament at the Target Center.
Most recently she served as the Associate Athletic Director at GPAC member College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, where she oversaw eligibility and game day administration for the Flames.
