Andrew Schmitz from Doane University is this week’s field athlete-of-the-week.  Schmitz, a sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, reached a personal best in the weight throw with a mark of 18.01m (59-01.25) and moved to seventh on the NAIA chart for this season. He had the top throw to win the Ward Haylett Invite. Schmitz added a third-place finish in the shot put.
