Week 6: GPAC Volleyball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Volleyball Players-of-the-Week
Attacker – Jazlin Douma, Northwestern College (Outside)
Jazlin Douma of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Douma, a senior, from Orange City, Iowa, totaled 31 kills (3.88 per set), 22 digs, and seven blocks as the Red Raiders went 2-0. A top-five matchup at Concordia on Saturday saw Douma lead all players with 24 kills, also recording 11 digs and five blocks, hitting .340 on the day.
Setter- Kayleigh Hybertson, Dakota Wesleyan University
Kayleigh Hybertson of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Hybertson, a sophomore from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, averaged 9.63 assists per set in a pair of contests last week. She dished out 34 assists in a sweep of Haskell. She also added 16 digs, three blocks and a pair of service aces on the week.
Defender – Zavyr Metzger, Northwestern College (Middle)
Northwestern College middle Zavur Metzger is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defender-of-the-Week. Metzger, a junior, from Larchwood, Iowa, was dominate in the middle, blocking 12 attacks this week for 1.71 blocks per set. She also put down nine kills and added an assist. Metzger closes the weekend as the NAIA's leader in blocks per set (1.87).
