Field Events – Abi Wohlgemuth, Concordia University
Alivia Baucom from Doane University is this week's women's field athlete-of-the-week. Wohlgemuth, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, climbed to second on the NAIA national weight throw list with a personal best of 63-01.50 achieved at the Concordia Invite. That mark also ranks No. 2 on Concordia's all-time women's weight throw list.
Track Events – Trinity Tuls, Concordia University
Trinity Tuls of Concordia University is this week's women's track athlete-of-the-week. Tuls, a senior from Columbus, Nebraska, won the 400 meters at the Concordia Invite in a time of 58.44. Though not an A or B standard, that time ranks Tuls No. 3 in the GPAC and No. 19 in the NAIA. Tuls also ran Concordia's fastest split (57.638) as part of a 4x400-meter relay that met the automatic national qualifying standard at the Husker Invite. The 4x4's time of 3:52.99 was just off the season best.
