Week 5: GPAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 18-24, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Kierstynn Garner, Concordia University (Forward)
Kierstynn Garner of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Garner, a sophomore from Kearney, Nebraska, produced a combined three goals and an assist on the week as the Bulldogs won twice in blowout fashion, 4-0 over Dordt and 8-0 over Northwestern. Garner is currently the GPAC co-leader with nine goals on the season (tied with teammate Savannah Andrews
Women's Defense – Hannah Kile, Concordia University (Defender)
Hannah Kile of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Kile, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, led a back line that contributed to two shutout wins last week: 4-0 over Dordt and 8-0 over North western. The two GPAC opponents were limited to a combined 14 shots (five on goal). Kile also added a goal apiece (first two of career) in the wins over Dordt and Northwestern.
