Week 1: GPAC Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following wrestler-of-the-week for contests played November 13-19, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Luke Jenness, Northwestern College – 184lb Weight Class

Northwestern wrestler Luke Jenness is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Jenness, a senior from Primghar, Iowa, recorded his 100th career win in Thursday's dual at Dakota Wesleyan. He also defeated the top-ranked 184 wrestler Jesse Daniel Perez (Ottawa) on Saturday at the Spire Duals. In his third and final bout of the week, Jenness picked up a major decision over Oklahoma Wesleyan's Jaden Welden.
