Women – Sofia Castelan, Morningside University
Sofia Castelan of Morningside University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Castelan, a senior from Queretaro, Mexico, won a playoff hole over Iowa Western's Baylie Pyke to take the individual title at the 2024 Concordia Bulldog Spring Invitational. Morningside finished the event in second place, two strokes behind Iowa Western, but 60 strokes ahead of the next GPAC team.
Men – Andrew Arndorfer, Briar Cliff University
Andrew Arndorfer of Briar Cliff University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Arndorfer, a senior from Algona, Iowa, overcame very strong winds to win the Bethel Invite. This was his first collegiate win. Sitting in fourth place after the first round, Arndorfer shot a 76 (tied for lowest round of the tournament) to win by four strokes. He had 16 pars and five birdies.
