2024 GPAC Men’s Basketball Tournament Championship Set
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The championship game of the 2024 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Basketball Tournament is set for Tuesday night after Saturday's semifinals were played in Orange City, Iowa, and Hastings, Nebraska.
Fourth seed Morningside won on the road over top seed Northwestern 93-83, while two seed Hastings won at home over #3 seed Concordia 82-78.
GPAC Championship Tuesday will be on Tuesday, March 5, at 7pm in Hastings, Nebraska, with the two seed Hastings hosting #4 seed Morningside. The winner will secure the second automatic bid to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Tournament as the GPAC Postseason Champion.
64 teams will make the NAIA Men's Basketball Postseason this year. Games will be played at First and Second Round Sites on March 15-16 (four team pods). The 16 opening round site winners will play in the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship is set for March 21-26, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, at Municipal Auditorium.
The 64-team tournament field will be announced on Thursday, March 7, at 6pm during the NAIA Selection Show.
