Week 8: GPAC Football Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following football players-of-the-week for games played the week of October 14-20, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-25 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/ Football Players-of-the-Week
Offense – Austin Jablonski, Wide Receiver (Concordia University)
Concordia wide receiver Austin Jablonski is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Jablonski, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, made 13 receptions for a school-record 213 receiving yards and a touchdown as Concordia defeated Doane, 45-10. Jablonski's 29-yard touchdown grab came on a fourth-and-8 play. On the season, Jablonski has pulled in 56 catches for 785 yards and seven touchdowns. The Bulldogs host Mount Marty on Saturday, October 26. Kick off will be at1 pm.
Defense – Kole Telford, Defensive Back (Northwestern College)
Defensive back Kole Telford of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Telford, a senior from Rock Rapids, Iowa, picked off two passes and had a pair of tackles in Saturday's road win at Waldorf. One of his interceptions set the Raiders up in the red zone, as he had 12 yards on interception returns. The Raiders host Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday, October 26. Kick off will be at 1 pm.
Special Teams – Eli Stader, Kicker/Punter (Northwestern College)
Eli Stader of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Stader, a senior from Cedar Grove, Wisconsin, went 6-for-6 on PATs in Saturday's 45-7 win at Waldorf. He also cashed in on a 33-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. Stader punted the ball one time for 42 yards inside the 20 and had three touchbacks on eight kickoffs. The Raiders host Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday, October 26. Kick off will be at 1 pm.
