Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Brad Tornow, Northwestern College
Brad Tornow of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Tornow, a senior from Washington, Iowa, threw a complete-game shutout in Saturday's win over Valley City State. He tied the program record with 16 strikeouts in the 4-0 win while walking just one and allowing just two hits.
Player – Luke Wroblewski, Northwestern College (Outfield)
Northwestern outfielder Luke Wroblewski is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports baseball player-of-the-week. Wroblewski, a senior from Sussex, Wisconsin, drove in 13 runs with a home run, a triple, and four stolen bases at the RussMatt Invitational. In a 16-5 win over IU-South Bend, Wroblewski hit a grand slam and was a base hit shy of completing the cycle.
