Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Slayder Watterson, Mount Marty University
Slayder Watterson of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Watterson, a junior from Burley, Idaho, pitched in a pair of games over the week allowing only two hits in 11 innings. In a shutout win over Mayville State, Slayder went five innings, striking out nine while not allowing a hit when he left the game.
Player – Jaidan Quinn, Concordia University (Third Base)
Concordia third baseman Jaidan Quinn is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports baseball player-of-the-week. Quinn, a senior from Bonner Springs, Kansas, led Concordia to a 6-0 week that included a doubleheader sweep at No. 16 Kansas Wesleyan. For the week, Quinn went 13-for-18 (.722) with 17 runs, four doubles, seven home runs and 15 RBIs. Quinn surpassed 50 home runs for his Concordia career as part of the hot week.
